Cargo tricycle delivery in winter in Montreal!

A few photos taken in February in the streets of the Plateau Mont-Royal.

Even in the snowy streets of Montreal, the "last mile" delivery continues to happen.

As I talk to the driver, he mentionned that this type of tricycle is particularly well suited for its stability and propulsion capacity in the snow.

The driver stressed the importance of being visible in winter conditions, and showed me the well-installed lights and indicators.

Given the chaotic roads in Montreal, with a high presence of potholes, especially during freeze/thaw periods, it is essential that the wheels and suspensions are oversized. The chassis must also be reinforced.

Finally, our driver informed us that some pedelecs would soon be equipped with cabins, which is not a bad thing for the comfort of the pilots. To be continued...
