Like major cities around the world, the Montreal agglomeration is facing, due to the significant increase in online shopping,  to an increasing volume of traffic in residential areas linked in particular to the delivery of parcels to homes.

This phenomenon is at the origin of several problems such as  congestion in residential areas, an accelerated phenomenon of road aging and also raises questions about pollution related to road traffic and noise pollution. 

This study project focuses on the search for pragmatic solutions to limit the volume of delivery trucks circulating in residential areas while maintaining a level of quality.  in the delivery service.
